I don't know which brand of mousse you've tried, but I find that for my curly hair, Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Curl Control Mousse is the best. After getting out of the shower, allow hair to airdry a little, then apply mousse to hair. Finger style/scrunch hair, then TWIST into a bun. After hair is completely or mostly dry, take out bun for soft pretty curls :)
