Does putting your hair in a tight ponytail with a big rubberband make it break off!?

Rubber bands are very bad for your hair. The rubber is a "non-skid" type of surface so it will cling to and tug on your hair, especially if it's wrapped tightly. The best way to put your hair in a ponytail is to use an "ouchless" kind of hair tye - the kind without the metal band holding the ends together. They are very inexpensive - try Goody brand. Good luck!

You can use bands...but not elastic bands... as long as it has a cover over it.
