How do I scrunch my hair?

My hair is around my shoulders, maybe a little shorter and I can never straighten it because it never works. I have curly hair, my hair is big and it is thick. I bought gel from the company Catwalk and extra strong mousse from the same company that is suppose to work well for my kind of hair. My question is how do I scrunch my hair and make it look nice?

1. get cat walk spray gel

2. have hair damp

3.flip head down and spray gel in your hair

4. get a towel to scrunch hair.(not hands ,hands make it frizzy)

5. your head up and fix pieces

i have lk the same length hair and it is naturally curly but to make my hair look neatly scrunched i get my hair not soaked but pretty damp n flip ur hair up side down and puot some mouse in you hand and take a handful of hair at a time and just scrunch it real good then gently flip you hair back over and apply gel. good luck =]
