i was thinking of a long side bang, and the rest in long layers a little below my shoulders. i dont want anything too dramatic/diffrent.

Bangs or a wave over your forehead would be good, but long hair will just accentuate your long face. Have it cut with fullness or a slanted cut on the sides to bring the eye up. Wear big round earrings that don't dangle.
